HELP: '81 250r...where does this spacer/doohickey go

I was in the process of putting my cases back together, and after I got "everything" back in it's place, I still have this spacer, or whatever it is. It fits the crankshaft nicely(1) and on the rear transmission shaft(2). And it fits inside the crank seal.
And it measures
1.494" OD
.864" ID
1.139" in the inner part that steps down

I cant see it clear enough. Can you get a shot of just the part closeup?

now that i look closer it looks like the wear marks on the outside of it match the lips on the new crank seal

Anyone? I'm pretty sure it goes on the crank and rides in the crank seal...but I'd like to find out for sure sure

You should have one crankshaft spacer on the right side of the crankshaft and one of the left side. Yeah, one goes on the left side where you have that arrow pointing to.
