Honda 200M Are they any good? One down the road 4 sale

My brothers Boss is looking to get rid of a Honda 200M I dont know the year and havnt seen it yet. I have a good chance of getting this as only one other person is looking at it and has to ask the wife, find a way to move it and all that Pain in the Butt stuff. It runs and doesnt look bad Im told. And is all original. Are thes any good, I figure they are in the Big Red area and are BulletProof but im not familiar with the Honda Lineup and acceseries for each model. Please give me some good info as im hoping to go look at it tomorrow and try to buy it for around $300.00 or less. I guess he is going to put it out on the road soon so I want 1st dibs.

Any 200 is great and with electric start it's that much better! $300 is a good deal if it's in fairly good condition.

If anything you shouldn't have to adjust them much at all since there is no rear suspension. What was the problem?

there good bikes, will run and run and run if you take care of them, kinda on the bigger heavier scale of the 200, the 84 is nice becuse it is smaller and is a down shift pattern while the 85 is bigger and has an up shift pattern which can be a pain at times,

    Thanks

Thx, I will try to get some pics tomorrow. I need to go hit this guy up personally. I only had my Brother call him. It sounds like it might go for cheap. Wish me luck and hope I get a sweet deal. Im going in!

They are alright. We had an 84 200M and a 84 110 at the same time and me and my brother both preferred the 110 when trail riding. We didn't have any problems with the chain, only with mud eating the rear bearings away.
