    quad into trike...??

Evening gents Does any body know how much work in turning a yzf 450 quad into a trike. I have had one offered to me with a badly damaged front end the price is good but it seems a shame leaving it a quad when it could be a trike instead.
If anyone has some ideas please let me know
    Cheers...Aussieboy1

If you got the tools and the time.. i'm sure it's possible.

You're gonna have to figure out the rad part to fit, Motocross forks, etc.... but that motor would make it fly !!

You could definitly do it, it would just take time, money, and a bunch of fabricating.

I have thought about trying convert a quad but i dont have the money or tools but more than enough time on my hands.

hey, if there is one near you, got to a motorcycle salvage yard, take a tape measure, find a frame that could be converted. try for yamaha.
    one cylinder is not enough!!

i wonder if you could install the motor in an existing frame like a 250r or 350x. should be cheaper and easier to do. but if you are up for a challange go for it.

I would definitely do it. You might be better off buying a YZ 450F dirt bike frame and using its radiators, tank, and moding everying to fit.

It can work and if you do it...I would love, love, love to see it!!
