I thought all the tecates were in cali. If you look hard enough you will find more than one.

There is Tecate in the cycletrader online that has a KX 500 motor in it. It may not be worth it at $1800......just kidding!

I would steal that thing so fast!!

Yeah Caliy should have alot of vintage trikes there. The were tons of races in that part of the world(boy I miss San Diego ). In the south they are even harder to find, only a few and far between.

I'm in California and have an 86 Tecate...probably one of the ones you have seen at Glamis....I have been riding it there since around 1995.

I had mine shipped from Oregon to NY. I had only heard of someone having an 86 in my area and I have been into ATVs for more a little more than 18 years.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

I've only seen one out in the desert here. I do see them for sale in the Cycle Trader on very rare occasion though. I see more Tri-Z's than I do Tecates.
