    3 Wheels 65 HP....do it!!

I think my next project must be something with the KX 500...

I mean look at this stock:

Late 80's engine is still the fastest **DONT TYPE AROUND THE WORD FILTERS** in the world!! Eat crap YFZ 450....Big 80's two stroke tech. will still destroy you!!

The KX500's liquid-cooled 499cc two-stroke engine features the Kawasaki Integrated Power Valve System (KIPS), and pumps out nearly 65 horsepower for incredible off-road speed and acceleration. Powerful disc brakes in the front and rear rein in those ponies, and fully adjustable suspension components provide more than 12 inches of wheel travel.

And from what I've heard in the past it's an almost drop-in for an 86 KXT 250 Frame.

haha yea i always give my freind crap about my 200x('s) destroying his blaster, and he "says" hes buying a YFZ 450 and then i showed him that movie of the 500r killing the YFZ. and i told him dont make me do it... and being the Trike hater that he is. he still thinks a pimped out YFZ cant beat the 500r but if i can get a hold of one of these motors i think it would shut him up

    You damn right he would.

Hey Jeb..there is a guy in Texas at area code 254 selling an 86 Tecate for $1200. It runs and he has new original plastic too. Is that by Dallas?

I don't want it...too much time spent on this stuff as it is. Someone else might.

Ive started my conversion with a 84 kxt frame, let me tell ya, theres a lot of re-configuration to do, especially with the front down tube, i had to cut it shorter and wishbone it higher than it origionally was to fit the exhaust. its a project that got put aside for a while due to the flow of trikes that poured into here, good deals latley. Sadly it wont be ready for TF, maybe next year. Also to those interested I might be selling my Franks +2 tecate swinger!

Darius, 254 was broken out from the old 817 area, which is now Ft.Worth and immediate suburbs. 254 is the rural areas west and south.

PM me the number. I think I know where this KXT is.

I know the 85 500R made 48hp stock. That's my next trike conversion..

Darius, lets see if you can build a converted and fabricated bike as well as you can restore those stockers!! You may end up with my dream trike.

Just google the phone number and the exact address will be displayed (except for cell phones)

I would love to get my hands on a XR650R motor and put it in a trike (like the street legal ATC650X in PA that was in Dirtwheels)

That article is so awesome. I had no idea that a company made a conversion. We should ask Lagaer to make a kit to convert the new cr 250r's. That would be rad.
