the same thing has happened to me 3 timesnow!!!! i finally decidiedthat it was caused by there not being a rear suspentine and the chain took a real beating because of it. oh well i need a recoil starter for the ytm200 real bad.

That pic was taken right when I first got it home. I've had it for a couple of months now. That's not a turf tamer its a flat balloon tire. Looks cool though :-D All three tires have dryrot and don't hold air long. I just got it trail worthy again (thanks to a couple of guys from the board) the wife and I are going to take it out for a spin this weekend. I will try to get some pics.

Nothing broke on it anymore, I've been working on it for a month and a half. Ive been into everything but the engine. this thing runs and rides like new now. It had a broken side case, axle carrier and a broken front brake hub. alot of elbow grease and about a hundred bucks to get it into the shape its in now. all thats left to do is the tires.

A neighbor of mine has one, sits outside, never changes the oil and just puts in gas. Thing runs great! It starts up 1st pull every time, and runs strong. Somehow it keeps going. He's had it about 5 years...

Thats damn clean. I bought a 200S '84 for 100 bucks all it needed was a carb clean and a new intake manifold. After that she ran like a champ! Good luck with it!
