    shortening 200x suspension

    is there anyway, apart from moving the forks up in there tripples, to shorten the height of 200x forks.

    You could cut the fork springs down, but god forbid you ever got air after that... the suspension would be squirrley...

    dw...its not goin on a 200x, and the bike wont be jumped.

    cut down tubes..

    Hey triker

    I raced a bike back in 84,85 in aussie Melbourne actually, who apparently cut down the tubes and re treaded the tops. We were racing on a speedway track.. Im not 100 % sure on this as my dad spoke to him more than what l did, l was to busy trying to beat him.!!!!! Maybe someone in here might be able to shed some light on this ?????...
