Cabbie picked me up about a month ago.. in a snow storm.. i told the guy " Can't wait to get home... play in the snow with the trike !! "

So he tells me he's got an SX and another entire in parts.

Beins that my frame is kinda messed up.. this is getting Sand blasted and powder coated.

    I want to find an 86 swingarm.. and a 200 x front.

then transfer everythnig from my current ride.. new plastics. new PRM bar... Voila !

    2500 $ trike !

Buddy wanted 150 for it.. and he needed the money.. as i drove up.. he was outside with a buddy... buddy left. and as we went into his " Grage.... " ( 6 ml plastic over 2x4.. " ) i.. jokingly " So this is how you get away from the o'l lady eh ? hehheh ".. and he replies " I live here ". he had mental issues, but was a cool dude.

He checked with Honda for a price on a frame .. was told 1400 $.. LOL...... but his friends told him it was worth 150..... basically i was generous and told him straight up.. i can get one with a swingarm for 100 from xxxxxx in town.. so i'll offer you the same.

It's in good chape. no broken bolts, no major rust.. a tiny warp where the grab bar goes but that's about it.

    can't wait!

    Nope....

It was burried under a pile of junk, looked to be in very good shape tho.

His has a hondaline spedo !! gonna try to get my hands on it somehow.

He's got a spare motor/tranny.... he's supposed to dig it out from all the junk and then call me back....

what should someone offer for a motor and tranny in good shape ?
He was mentioning 400.. 500.... i'd like to keep it under 4.. more like 350???

    Is 100 for a frame fair ?

$100 for the frame sounds like a deal to me!!! if you can get a whole motor and tranny for $350 it'd be cheap to i'd think since there hard to come by around here...

I paid $350 off of ebay for a newer engine for the SX. so if you can get the tranny too then thats a deal.
