    Question 86 200x needs motor help (fix?)

    anyone think i can straighten this connecting rod? can i at least salvage the piston and jug? I know the connecting rod might need a little weld job but other than that, she's gonna be good as new. LMAO

    this was the motor on the 86 I bought from 3ww member and he was right its trashed !!!! I think jb weld might help LOL found a 400ex motor wondering what it would take to fit to this trike

    WOW Dale. I thought the conecting rod was broke but not that messed up. I feel kind of bad now. That is definatley a display piece!

    Speaking of different engines for it, when I first picked it up I thought, maybe that 426 wiould fit in there? Well I measured it and it is only about a inch from fitting legth wise. If only the swing arm bolt was a little further back. Oh and when you get redy to fire that tiger up PM me. I would love to come up and check one of those badboys out. If you have some space to ride I might just have to bring my T3 along and we can go for a ride.

    Well I finaly said screw it with trying to get the kickstarter off of the tecat the civilized way. Tomorrow night I am taking the die grinder to it and cutting a slit in it so that I can pry it apart. I hope it works. Just let me know when you get that bad boy together and I will be up.

    how the hell did that rod get bent that bad ??????

    sank it under water at full rev or somthen ?
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    Brapp what kinda trike you looking for as I have more on the way. i would be interested in doing some trading or out right buy for bike. I found a engine with bad tranny will take the 2 to make one
