That's the basic red paint for the Honda frames right? Try getting ahold of ClayW in PM or search for his thread on painting gastanks. In a pinch though, I've used International Harvester Red on my 350X frame. Also others have used "Sunset Red" I think.... which is ironic, cause Japan is the land of the rising sun....

A few years back there used to be a company called Color Rite that sold it, among many other OE colors. Chapparral racing in CA used to carry it, but no longer. Not sure if they're still around or where you'd look to find them.

I ordered some of the colorrite R109 touch-up and it did not match the frame color. It was too orange looking. And it was expensive.

Yea, that rust-oleum sunrise red is good, my rear brake master had leaked brake fluid on my frame, and I did a touch up, looks so good I am going to do the whole frame this winter, its spray can, but I wire wheel and scuff with scotch brite, then wipe it down with acetone, stuff sticks great. looks orange in this picture, but not in person, its right on.

Anyone who wants the best match to R109 Passion red can get ahold of me. I can do single spary cans mixed by R109 formula. Can be done in single stage fast dry, base coat for clear, or activated single stage. Also can do pints. Single stage cans are $25 plus shipping. Dead on match. I'll try to get pics, or check put my 350X build thread.
