All the Trikes I currently own were bought within 1 hour of my house on eastern Long Island. Parts for them have come from far and wide though. I did buy a 84 Big Red in PA last year but sold it when I got my SX. That Big Red I found when I was visiting my father in law so I really didn't go out of my way to get it.

    Lots O Trikes!!!!!

These new aquisitions definetly need restores. The tri Z is fugly but the price was right. Glad you guys are looking forward to seeing some more of my work.

My lessons I've learned the $$hard way$$ this year.

Wait and you'll find what your looking for sooner or later. The $580 shipping charges have killed me in the past.-- Wish I would have waited to find some more locally.

Ive been buying decent bikes for moderate to high money- MISTAKE If your doing a full restore and going to replace plastics ,powdercoat coat , and address everything from top to bottom it doesnt have to look great or OK when you buy it --just has to be solid. Just make sure all the parts are there. Unless its an immaculate stock beauty like Darius's 250R that doesnt need a restore.

Exception TIGER -- is was very dirty and beat when I Bought it -but basically complete--paid Big and would do it again. Find a tiger Buy it --if you dont someone else will. I'm actually glad this one was the way it was because I get tremendous satisfaction doing restores. (bringing something back to life) .
You and me (among a few others on here) would make a great team! I'm exactly the same way. What could have been heading for the scrap yard (in some minds) is now a thing of beauty.

Xman198, if I were you I would get both of those 200x running. I'm in a similiar situation but I have an 85' that is costing me a ton of money and I also have an 86' on "layaway". I plan on having both up and running. You can never have too many trikes. Keep your eyes peeled for the frame it WILL show up eventually.
