Well we lined em up and in a drag race, the 450r got it off the line but by the end the 250r was in front by atleast 1 bike length. That was in a 300 yard race or so. The white 250r isn't even my fastest 250r. My 85 will beat the 86 but it is down with head gasket problems right now. I like the 450r a little better, but I think that is because it is new. I ride the new Rancher the most since the fields are planted and I am kind of restricted to the woods right now around the house. I still love my 3 wheelers, but ride them a little less since the new quads arrived.

What is all done to that 250R??
I have a 250R and 450R as well.
You HAVE to get the HRC kit and put a full exhaust system on that 450, HUGE difference. The 250 won't stand a chance after that. I can tell from the pics you don't have either one. You won't even know it's the same bike.

The white one has a good port job and decent exhaust (FMF). I raced my stock 450R with one that had 36 tooth rear sprocket, no airbox lid, larger jets and FMF Power Bomb (?) exhaust, and he tore me a new one in a drag and on flattrack race. He races pro class locally. He said that the HRC cam wasn't making much of a difference when racing, now I know that is his opinion. Does it really help the 450r that much, or is it more the exhaust that helps? Even if I did those mods it will not stand a chance against my 85 with the 310 Big bore and PT exhaust. That one is snappier and way more wicked than the white 86 R is. Here is the only couple of pics I have of the 85.
