    grease question

    i have a full tube of snowmobile grease,the moto4 i got has alot of grease fittings is it ok to use this low temp greae in the quad??

    Your greases are sensitive. Never mix greases with a different base. See what the tube of snowmobile grease is... Is it a petroleum base or a lithium base? Then find out what kinda grease your moto 4 needs. I would GUESS that it would be a general multi purpose lithium grease, but I am not sure. The low tep grease will break down quickly, and grease is cheap. I'd put the right stuff in there... not necessarily yamaha brand stuff, but a cheaper equivalent. Do not mix greases of different base, cause it will cancel each other out and turn to watery slime.

    well i checked out all the grease points and they were all dry so i used the low temp grease,i heard from alot of people that it repells water best.....i'll find out i guess..
