    Busted fork boots. keep or cut. ?

    Well.. on my SX... the boot on one side is torn to crap.. and the other side is in ok shape...

    What's your opinion.... keep them and clean them..

    or trash them until i get new one's ?
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    get new ones, by the time you clean up and repair the old ones with all the headaches, it's just a lot easier on the brain to buy new ones in my opinion and it's money well spent as well

    OH i'm going to replace them as soon as possible.. but in the mean time ..

    would it be worse to have them Hold muck but prevent rocks from hitting the tubes... or simply take them off for now ?

    Could do the dammit thing and have just one !! LOL..
