How should i fix stripped exhaust studs/bolts in a head?

Im resealing my 110 topend and i need to fix the exhaust bolts. I believe they have studs from the factory but mine came with bolts. Should i just JB Weld in some studs or put some thread inserts in and put studs or use bolts?

I have never seen JB weld work on anything and it definitely won't hold exhaust on. Best thing would probably be to heli-coil the head and then screw a stud into it.

JB will just burn off. It's just epoxy! Do the Heli-Coil thing, or drill out and retap to the next size.

As above but dont tap all the way through because when you drive the helicoil in it will stop > Use the first tap then maybe the second tap then loctite helicoil in . I use these every day in moldtools just dont go right the way thru with the tap as the helicoil or solid insert ( which are alot better) will only screw out when you put the bolt/stud in.

Ummmm.... put a different head on it? That's how I fix crap like that! Even saved me some big repairs in the future! When we changed the head, found a toasted cam and non-existant lifter arms!
