    87 Lt500r Needs A Lil More Speed

    im from miami florida i currently own a 1987 lt500r the mods are

    bored. 100 over
    d&g pipe silencer
    15t front sprocket 22'11'9 in the rear.

    the bike has unbelievable power, I WANT TO MAKE IT FASTER. wat other mods can i do to make it faster ..

    Do you want it to go faster, or be quicker?. Did you have the jug at least "match" ported (port faces re-timed) when you bored it out?. With that much overbore, if you didn't, you are probably loosing horsepower, rather than gaining it. Also, I would ditch the DG pipe and go with a Dyno-Port TOP ender Works pipe or an LRD (if you can find one) adjustable for peak horsepower.

    get rid of that dg pipe. find a pipe for top end. put a bigger rear sprocket on. if you still have the stock carb get rid of it and get a new aftermarket carb.
