    Yep... but have fun trying to find parts to rebuild the top end! I think Blazer said it correctly... paper weight! However, I bought a nice 300R head on ebay once... no bidders for under $10. It has 8 bolts and not 7 so it's special to just the 300R kit. I thought it'd make a cool little letter holder/desk paper weight. Once I found that complete 300R motor, a couple fins on that complete motor are broke off, so I will be using that "paperweight" I had bought for < $10 afterall!

    what do * do when ** top end goes? have a custom piston and ring set and lazer cut had gasket made?

    I hate to say it, but wasn't there a few threads in the past years about having a wiseco make a run of those pistons, but there was a minimium run and the cost for each kit would be about $200. I'm sure if people got together(and actaully go and order the pistons,instead of talk about it) someone will make them and gasket sets, provided a decent sample is provided.

    yes many a time, but i have also heard you can just trim the skirt on a FL350 piston to fit the kit too.
