    clutch adjustment and oil filter

Ok on a 225 yamaha do you adjust the clutch same as a honda? If so do you turn to the left or right till you feel tension then back of a 1/4turn?also due to low funds (due to a messed up pay) my oil filter doesn't look that bad just a little dirt but it's made outta a weird material can i rinse it in clean oil and reuse it?

yep thats how you ajust the clutch.
You may be able to reuse the oil filter if it has no rips or holes in it.
I clean my oil filters in solvent, just be careful not to tear it.

o ya, you take the nut off of the clutch ajuster screw and you back the screw out counterclockwise until resistance and then 1/4 or 1/8 turn in.

for the solvent, thats a good question.
I think you could use diesel fuel to clean it, but someone else should back that up because im not sure.
At work, we have a parts cleaning tub with a solvent tap, so thats what i use.
