    Simple but can someone confirm?

    ON an SX.. or 250ES. after a few hours of running, is your oil dip stick BURNING hot... ?

    I assume so as it's made of metal.. threaded into the bock that's attached to the head.... but mine was HOT !!!!

    ( I"m sure when i read this again in the morning.. sober...it won't be such an important question.. but at the moment !! )
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    maybe i should add.

    15 ish celcius temps. sundown. open fire road, 5th gear running mid throttle.. stopped for about 10 minutes... is when i noticed how hot she gets.
    Currently :

    lol i think it's normal i burnt my fingers on mine tonight on that same fire road your talkin about...lol

    ya it should get hot, just as long as the headpipe doesnt glow orange i think you'd be alright
