    Polished Alluminum front wheel for an 85R

    Hey,

    Anybody out there know what company makes and aftermarket polished alluminum front wheel for an 85 ATC250R? I just bought some new wheels for the rear and can't seem to find a front wheel that will match.
    previous rides: 87 KX250, 86 KTM500, 84 XR500, 97 XR400, 96 RM250,96KX250,
    97CR250, 98YZ400F, 2000YZ426F, 2003YZ450F Secondary: 02 TTR125, 03 Blaster, 02 XR50 Watercraft:SeaDoo XP787 Snowmobiles:87 indy Trail, (2) 88' indy 400s, (2) 89' indy 500s, (1) indy 500 EFI. (1) 93' 650 RXL, 02' RMK 800 and a 85' 250R

    I think Douglas can make one, but you have to call them to order. Last time I checked I think they wanted around $70 for one.

    ....or you can get a nice 350x front rim, which is polished, and has a cool looking cast center.....
    1985 Honda ATC250R drag trike with s/t kit and full drag CR hybrid motor and drag chassis...
    1986 Honda ATC250R daily rider fully modded engine, +4 swinger,etc...
    1997 Polaris Storm 800 triple, boyesen reeds, dg individual silencers, 240 studs, 123mph on radar...

    That'd be a 86 350X rim.... a 85 350X rim would be just solid metal. It absolutely kills me to hear people taking gold rims and removing the coating. Just get yourself a 350X rim, and sell the gold rim to someone searching for a gold 250R rim!

    Bought the same mentality of taking a mint set of rear fenders and cutting them down to fit on a different trike. Or taking a set of nice mint red fenders and painting them white or something. Help perserve the OEM items we still have, instead of blasting away the gold off a 250R rim!

    ill take a pic of my 350x front rim tomorrow, i think it looks way better than a douglas, i dont like how the center is all solid looking....
