    Another CR500 Trike conversion Begins...

Just picked mine up today. It seems to be real solid with a completely fresh engine. I was told it has an aftermarket shock on the rear (which it does) but it's blown out.

Going to see how it rides tommorrow then tear into it. I have to drop off the forks and my 250R triples at the cycle shop to be modded, monday.

The rest of the bike is going with me to the fabrication shop to tackle the rear swinger.

The plan is to have the bike on 3 wheels by next weekend. Probably won't build a rear subframe for the 250R seat and fenders till after TF.

Here's my new purchase (pic 1)

Here's what I hope for it to look like next week (pic 2)

Here's what I want to resemble when it's finished (pic 3)

Took the old girl for a ride today. It wasn't near as bad to start as I had anticipated. I ran into a big problem though. It only will shift into 1st and 2nd gears. It doesn't seem to want to go any higher. 3legg rocked it around while the engine was off and it seemed to work, so i'd say it's not too big of issue, but either way i'm going to have to talk to the guy I got it from.

Seems to be pretty torquey. I'm excited to get it done, but pretty bummed about the tranny issue. Hope they take care of it for me.
