What is the 200x gas tank paint code?

Well I started sanding down the 200x tanks to paint them for my project trike and remembered someone saying that the 200x tank is more off white then pure white, is that true? Does anyone know what paint code it is or if I can just use strait white? I have two tanks so I figured that I would restore both and sell the one I don't use so I want to make sure it is the right color.

with my new maier fenders i'll be painting mine a brighter white anyway, i know that doesn't help you, but I think a brighter white than the original looks much better.

If it's the same as the 350x tank color, GM White is a super close match, don't have the code tho...

350X tanks are 2 different colors..... what year are you referring him?

85 is more what he wants... it's more of an off white.... however, the color clashed/was noticeable against the 86 white plastics, so they went to a brighter white in 86.
