125m axle nut welded on with rust :(

Ive tryed for the past 2 days on and off trying to get the axle nut loose on my 84 125m ive sprayed it down numorous times with oil and no luck its like the dang thing is welded on.

any tips on how * guys remove the crazy rusted axle nuts that look like that have been untouched since 1984?

also if ** standing behind the 125m dose the nut lossen by turning it towards the front end or backwards towards the ground?

Also.. take a stiff wire brush and clean the exposed threads as best you can as close as possible to the nut so that when it does more, it don't get stuck full of rusty grit..

either a BIG adjustable, or in my case i used 2 pairs of ( not sure the name ) but they have notches that you can pull the handles apart and make them wider or narrower then once in a grove pull the handles together again.... i wish i knew the name of them.

those tiny torches don't put out alot of heat.. but you don't really want to make it glow either unless you plan to replace your rear bearings...

I find that once hot.. penetrating oil seems to get sucked in crevices better than when cold.... so heat it up best you can with what you got.. spray it with lube and give it a heave-ho !

Nothing beats having the right tools for the job.. but we can't all afford a garage full of every tools made now can we ? !!!

heat up the axle in the center of the nut and when it gets red hot ram some candles on it until it wont melt the wax anymore, it will suck in the wax and use it as lube...try it, it works.

PARIFIN WAX, it works. its a old engine rebuilder trick to get oil galley plugs out.

i use KROIL for penitrating oil ( IT IS THE BEST ) http://www.kanolabs.com
    not cheap but the best!!!.

use map gas ( yellow tank ) instead of propane. it will get a 3/8 bolt red.

get it red hot then tap on the nut and shock it loose ( do this a few times )spray it with penitrating oil after it cools some, but not when its hot enough to evaporate and the heat will draw the oil in, water will work sometimes too.
