    Thumbs up Got my 05 KFX400 street legal!

    I love Arizona.

    Threw on a horn, rear view mirror, MC plate and light. Got it insured, paid the registration now I'm set. I'm not gonna be hopping on I-17 or anything, but now I can cruise all the scenic roads and run down the highway to the local MX track or OHV areas without trouble with cops.

    I believe it was $64 for the add on parts, $89 for registration and $23 to start the insurance policy. Street legal for less than $200 is great!

    NICE!!! what about tires? I though you needed high pressure road tires to be street legal? Not the low pressure knobby ATV tires!!!!

    Not according to the DMV. There isn't a tire restriction in AZ, and people run those super deep mud tires on other street legal quads I've seen. Now, granted, I'll have to replace my tires more often, as they will wear out quicker on pavement than they would on sand, but tires aren't too pricey, so its an ok trade off.
