LOL, sorry I had to jump on that one. So did you get it all figured out now or is it still cutting out on the top?Originally Posted by kbyeeeeee

Yea i put a br9es and did a plug chop it was WAY lean went up to a 135main still lean, so up to 138 still lean i am at a 140 now and it has a tan color on the tip of the white electrode and gets whiter the closer to the base. I think its still lean maby i need to go up to a 142??
any thoughts.
yeah the most important # ont the plug is bes the r stands for resister and it doesnt effect your spark under high voltage lines that is all it is *7sed for that schoolin is right go with b9es that would be your best bet and in winter run b8es. so i see the air screw helped you out. now get a new plug and run it hard near rev limiter and shut it off will in high rev third gear and pull clutch in and break then do a plug reading post it and i will help to tell you what to do if you are lean or not
yes go to a 142 and try that maybe 145 main try a 145 and go from there i think that is the one you need
well put a 142 in plug still looks about the same then tried a 145 and it is even more choppy on the top end. seems like the 138 or the 140 ran the best i dont have my camera right now its in use with my step mom.
Well put the 140 back in and it flys still a little hesitation the first couple times i hit top end but it goes away after i blow it out once or twice. The plug has a brown tan color on what is usually white. I think i have it pretty close.
Ok I have went back to the 135 and it runs good. It got rid of the hesitation and stumbling. My air screw is at 1.75 turns out. needle clip at 2nd from top and 50 pilot. I hope this is close the plug is a br9es. any thoughts.
stick with 140 if it is all tan then tha t is it you should have to clear it out once since it is twostroke all that is is excess gas in the crank from startup since twostrokes give more fuel when you choke not cut off the air like four strokes go with 140 and use this oil with this ratio and i think you will be impressed. Belray MC1 or Belray H1r the bottle is 12.8 onces use mix the whole bottle with 4 gallons of gas and i swear on this stuff. my CR loves it. that is the best oil mixture to use with water cooled air cooled i would run 32:1. try that oil man it will impress you when you do a top end and everything is lubed perfectly
No I use silkolene sx2. It is great oil. I will not change that. I use 4.75 oz to a gallon. Not good to change oil after you have spent a week jetting the thing. the 135 is back in and you have to remember its a 84 with a 30mm carb, bored .80 out, k&n filter, holes in the airbox lid. I think 135 is ok. It still fouls plugs if i sit and idle but that is attributed to the br9es plug and a rich bottom end.
