Well, First my apologies to everyone I did not visit that I said I would on my trip but I kinda got left later than I had hoped. Anyway, My trip to florida was awsome and then I had a great time in tennesse. Getting to meet louis (lonesometriz) was awseom, he's a great guy and we had a great time ridding. (he's got a really freaking mean blaster) I'll have a few pictures of the day we want ridding but unfortunatly we didn't take too many.
We also got all the trike dealing squared away and as his post stated earlier, mike (mikeys250sx) came and picked up his 84 R. It was great meeting him too and I'm sure he'll make that R a great ride.
As far as my parts R that louis saved for me, I've already got to work with them. Basically what I ended up with was a 250r frame and forks, along with several boxes of mixed atc and trx parts.. After looking at all this stuff and sorting and etc I decided I'm going to build another 85 R and then trade/sell off the left overs. So far I've taken the best frame I had and started just bolting parts on and softing and picking out the best stuff. I feel like I'm "departing" a machine thats been parted. Here's some pictures of what I got going on so far.
The pile of parts and axels is most likely trading material so I'l lmake a post in the classifieds about all that.
Also included is a pic of the current fleet lined up outside that porch. Dunno why. they jsut were. lol.
That tank actaully was pretty ugly to start with. Thats after 2 hrs of sanding with a palm sander. I'm seriously thinking this bike is a good home for a powervalved CR250r engine with reversed kicker....ugg i can't type tonight. lol
