    atc 70 axle removal question

Hoe in the world do you get that little booger out? I am going to swap in a atc 90 axle but I can't get the 70's out. Any help is appreciated.

To remove the axle you must remove the right side hub and the spacer on the axle. Then the axle should slide out to the left. The bearing housing on the atc70 are part of the frame and can't be removed. Also, I may be wrong but I don't think a 90 axle will fit into the 70 carrier.

Hmm, I was going about it the wrong way then. At least I was trying to attack it from the brake side. I read somewhere that the 79 and 90 axles are the same except the 90's is longer. I'll find out.

The 90/110 axles are bigger in diameter and will not fit into the 70 carrier. You can use a holesaw and cut out the std carrier and fit a 90/110 carrier in with three bolts.
