Dg Stage 3 Pipe Xcellerator

Anyone know the DB's on the DG STAGE 3 PIPE XCELLERATOR ??? My supertrapp last time was out blew the end off because it rusted out inside. Im looking in to buying one of these. Also what about the dg steel rcm? Are they any good? DB's?
Any help would be great i need to pick one of these before friday! The Dg stage 3 is the one without the arrestor. Will this affect the noise? The supertrapp with 6 discs and no packing was pushing 106db at 3500 rpms with the trapp still on there. God knows how loud it is now. Are the cops out at florence pretty picky?

the dg steel rcms are loud, i got the krome power (same as rcm).

The Xcellerator is much louder than a packed supertrapp.

i rode a 400Ex with a stage 3 and it was quiet it bit faster then the stock 400ex that was in the group, when i mean quiet abit i mean like 1/2 a bike length and it seemed to be a stronger band.

do you think the stage 3 will be louder than a supertrapp with no trapp pretty much a straight pipe no packing no nothing! it kind of crackles its so loud!!!

Overall it will probably be quieter, but its probably going to be 2 diffrent sounds. The dg will be deeper, the supertrapp with no packing wont be as loud.

400ex's are dogs with the stocker. I wouldn't give too much credit to the stage 3, a cheap-o RCM will wake the 400ex up.

I just bought the x-3.
I was reasonalbly surprised how uh not loud it was. It is good competition against the cobra I have. Kinda throughty.

I have heard a supertrapp, I thought they were loudest things I have ever heard. I know you can adjust them, but it was a flat ouch on the ears. It was on a trike I was considering a long time ago. I also have a super on the 110. Now on there it sounds pretty cool. I may slap the rcm on to see the difference in sound, but the x-3 is much too pretty. Who knows maybe I am blinded by the bling.

well i think i made the right choice i paid $182 shipped full system, does that sound good! I know straight from dg they cost something like $300 + for them???

I have a DG Krome on my 350x and although DG says the spark arrestor discs won't fit I made them fit with just a little bit of work. I usually run mine open but when I install the disks it quiets down A LOT.

my friends got a 400ex with only a white bro's e series on it..packs a good punch now..and pretty deep and loud
