Honda shop don't work on Honda shocks?

I called my local Honda shop, it's called Moddrel's Honda. This place is kind of a big deal in this area. They told me that they don't service 3wheeler shocks and didn't know anyone who could . Is that a joke or what? Now I'm not sure what to do

ring up again and say there off a bike and see if they will do them then, if yes then you will know that its just because there from a 3 wheeler, which sucks. but you might get them to do it this way. i have had a problem with this, if you say you want a condensor from an atc70 its £25 ($45) but if its for a c70 scooter its only £5 ($7)

Take it to an independent shop. It'll be cheaper too.

    200x shock

It is the rear shock off of a 200x. I will try and find a local guy to do it. Is there anything that you can replace it with like a shock from a 4 wheeler or something?

I paid $150.00 to have my 250r shock rebuilt and revalved for my weight at a local suspension shop (Suspension by Jake). Makes a night and day difference with the revalving.

i know Hygear rebuilds shock from three wheelers, the guy is real nice and always was more than helpful with me. The few times i called with different questions he always had the answers. they are in south western NY down south of buffalo. give them a call or look them up online if you need it rebuilt and cant find anyone else

any shock rebuilding company can do any kind of shock. a shock is a shock just with different parts. they all work the same way.

when i had my 200x i thought the shock was sealed so it couldn't be rebuilt?

They arent sealed i took my old one apart and put different new seals in it and all i have to do is get it charged with nitrogen. Nitrogen is hard to find in the little town so im still looking for someone to charge it i want to see if it works.

find a welding shop that sells gases. they should have nitrogen and would be able to charge it for you. if you know what the pressure is.

I found some guys at Chickasha Industrial and Welding Supply that filled my shock up for me. Seems to work and not have any leaks.
