    still having the 200x problems!!

    i dont think ima be able to go to tf05...the 200x has been down for almost 1 1/2 months...no spark still..i tested everything..nothin was wrong..so i gave it to the shop ...they tested everything..cant find anything EXCEPT no power coming from the yellow wire from the stator..now...my light works..the wires arent switched...and my stator is good..i may have them put the old stator assembly back on to test it out...i want to go over there 2 morrow and help but i cant cause i gotta go to a wedding...and then saturday night i gotta work...and sunday i got church and they aint open..that doesnt leave much room...any suggestions on what it may be?? ..i switched coils, cdi boxes, stator reads good so that shouldnt be a problem...i just cant figure it out!! please help guys id really like to go this year!!!

    What about your pickup coil (pulse generator)??

    are you sure you checked source coil on the stator properly? did you check it agaist ground to see if it is shorting itself out?

    yes..its not the stator..thats the oem one..it reads 285 and the book says at least 275..im thinkin its either somethin in the kill switch or the pulse generator...everything is mounted and connected properly..i just dont understand it....i really dont know..all i know is that my light works when you kick it over but the engine doesnt get any power from the black and red striped wire...thats what they told me...but thats the stator wire which is connected right...i may bring them my other one in and see what happens

    Come to TF05 and bring the 200x. If needed I can bring a bunch of spare parts and get you spark. Just need to let me know before Monday if you need me to bring the parts.

    I guess I was thinking of someone else on these boards about the stator

    I can't figure this one out to save my life. What's with those mechanics anyway? The guys up at the one shop near me have there heads up there arses.

    howdy that would be great but i dont think i can go the way things are goin...ill let you know tho...i was gonna pm you about maybe being able to do that but you offered so ill take you up on it if i can go...i know i will probly need a stator...i dunno how much money i can bring cause right now i only got 40 bucks...lol i asked my mom if i could have about 50 if i can go...dunno if itll happen tho... anyway...ill see if i can get it outa the shop..i paid them 50 bucks so i wouldnt spend my money and not have it to give to them later..im a good thinker..but i didnt think tf05 was the 9-13th...i thought it was the 15-19th for some reason...which meant id get paid again before tf05...but that didnt work out...so i got alittle money and hopefully my mom will gimme some to take...i really dont think its the stator but what else could it be?? we changed the cdi box, and coil...the only thing left is the pulse rotor and the stator we checked but i dunno...it could be anything with that bike...im going to bring the shop a few parts tomarrow and test them out..i dunno if they will let me work on it but they might...they are nice guys at this shop..not a bunch of a holes like honda...

    well then i may need some help with the brakes too..is there some kind of mounts that hold the rear caliper on cause the one i got doesnt come close to mounting up on the swinger..i thought there was but i wasnt sure

    Yes, there is a bracket that bolts to the caliper and the swing arm.

    well its got one like you said welded to the swinger..but the caliper doesnt mount up..unless its for the front..i havnt tried that yet..

    hey i got the trike back but still not sure if i can go..i told my parents iull need to know by sunday night...but i also got to find a ride....and my parents..lol..they said if i find someone on here to take me they want to know wverything about them cause evidently in the past couple days someone from ny came down to terre haute..800 miles..and picked up a 15 yr old girl and took her to a hotel and then yea * know and dropped er back off at her house and went back to ny and got caught somehow...so hes in prison...they said they dont want nothin happenin to me like that so..yea..they wanna know all about whoever takes me unless its one of my friends that may go...so if i can find a ride from someone on here thats cool just be prepared for some ?ing...if i cant find a ride then there is always next year...the shop said its most liely my stator...which is what im thinkin....they couldnt find anything wrong with it either besides what i said...the stator...the new (used) cdi unit i on and a bunch of other stuff...i gotta work sunday night and then im off as far as i know the rest of next week...btrw if you can take me please let me know!! i can stay only a couple days tho...dont got the finds to stay everyday...btw about my brakes...it looks like itll mount right up to the front but its a little short and i put the e brake block off on it so i know its for the back..ill bring it all to tf if i can go ...howdy...if youve got the rear brake assembly or just mounts..mine needs rebuilt..it wont return back to the spot its suppose to without me prying it back with a screwdriver... please bring it if i can go..ill tell you by monday if i can...
