    throttle cable

My buddy and me went riding, he hit a tree, and his throttle cable got pulled on somehow, and is stuck full throttle, 1/2 mile home kill switch only way to stop. What would cause thes, how to fix it. It looks like it was pulled out of the thumb part to give it gas. Should he just get new one, or can it be taken apart and fixed?

Just get a new one, it's not worth the effort to try and fit it. Also part of the problem could be in the thrumb throttle assembly.

When he hit the tree it might have jammed the piece in the carb to the full throttle position. Take the carb off and look at the throttle cable in there.
