    My Kx80

Here is the thread where I will tell all whati started with and what i have now. I didnt get many pics but i do have some. I started with a 1992 Kawasaki Kx80 with a 1987 Kx80 engine, that I got in a trade for a gokart and a bicycle, and it needed a shift spring, and a good cleaning.
then I bought a 1994 Kx80 Big Wheel for $150.00, and it needed a new cylender and connecting rod, but it had a Pro Circuit Platnium racing pipe, and factory sound silencer. I took my 87 enigne and put it in the 94 BW frame, put on a new DID chain and i was rolling. Then I broke the cable houding holder off of the clutch cover, so I took the cover off the 94 engine, and I also snagged the shift spring out of it aswell. The 94 cover bolted right on and the spring went in without taking the basket off so I got lucky. Now it is running great except it needs some carb work. here are some recent pics of it all clean.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

yeah the pipe adds some power to it.. Need to clean it up a bit and rejet for it.
The single shroud is the older style of these bikes. I think in 1998 they went to 2 radiators and 2 shrouds. I want to get a 98 tank for the 2 shroud look, but thats when i have the money to get one. Thank you all for the complements, it may not be as nice as a clean bigred, or 200X but i am proud of it. Although, I dont think ill go with another kawasaki.. I am a honda guy.

well i finally got the needle and seat for the 80, and now it doesnt leak anymore, and it has a bnit more power now that the gas is going into the engine and not just leaking out of the overflows. the only thing i dont like about this bike is it likes to nose dive off of jumps, but i think its just because i am new to jumping. hope to get some riding shots soon.
