anyone know what the ballpark width is from outside of the leg to ouside of the other? or can you measure one for me?

The day begins with 3WW
The 250 SX headlight overlaps the forks by 3/8 to a 1/2" on each side being about a 1/2" forward of the tubes.
Not only to you need dimensions for that but also for the mount bracket.
Not sure how the 250R is set up though for this #15 bracket.
