84 200s Starting problems
I just picked up an 84 200s. I cleaned up the carb and it started right up. It normally starts on the first or second pull, but if I let it die before it's compeletely warmed up it is impossible to get restarted. If it is warmed up and dies it starts up on first pull. Any thoughts?

Are you sure you have the carb settings adjusted to spec? Did you check your floats, and air fuel settings when cleaning? those engines normally run like a watch.... I have had 5 of them so far, and am current working on a 1984 ES Big Red and a 1985 Yamaha 225DX. You may want to pick up a manual.. Clymer makes a pretty decent one. they are around $20 bucks... good luck and enjoy.
