I have a 1983 185s and just curious to see if the engine is running strong, I was wondering what is the top speed (about) for a 185s? i got mine going about 40mph.

yea i was gonna say i had mine to 48 with no mods and it blowin some oil smoke out the pipe..lol..well i gues it did have 1 mod..a straight pipe with a kerker silencer on the end that was from some kinda motorcycle..but i dont think it helped to much..sounded good tho

well when i was driving to my house one day i saw one of my friends on his stock 185s going along on some trail close to the highway and he was going at 53 mph, and my speedometer is not off at all.
