Brown and White wire on 85 350X?

Theres a brown and white wire coming off the kill/light switch on my 350X. Anyone know what there for? They stop down by the triple.

That's my guess. Basicly they are there for any items/accessories you want to add, so that if/when you do add them, you don't have to splice wires or nothing.

The brown wire is to run the speedo or tach lights. The white wire with the yellow tape on it it is only used for the Tachometer. Gotta love Mr Honda's design, however look at all the wires and connections that were made on every 350X produced for the minute handfull that have speedo's, let alone fewer still that have the tachometers! With the tack, you also get a small subharness that connects the tach to the ignition coil.

The 85-86R speedo kit runs the light off the rear tailight connectors and Honda gives them a long subharness that runs the length of the trike to the taillight. Guess they didn't want the extra weight/cost on the big racer!
