Well today i was in the cycle shop. I saw this laying there and decided to fianly give it a try. After fliping the rubber straps to the outside of the plastic it it fits alright. It looks diffrent. Its for a XR400, but works on my X.

Looks good! Definately needs to be used with a "skinny" front fender as the housing looks fairly narrow.
