I got the head off and my piston dont look to good, its all ruff and looks a bit burned, on the side where the exhaust is. and the cylender(head) itself has some burned (substance) i dont know what to call it, is and there is only a bit of it, is there any chemical to take that off?? and what would be my best place to look for a piston?? its a 82'

Wiseco makes pistons for just about everything. I put one in my 85 r and in works great. Also you could try Honda. Pro-x also makes 2-stroke pistons, don't know about older r tho. Dennis Kirk carries both wiseco and pro-x.
