    87-88 trx 125

    Hi,

I have a question. Are the 87-88 Trx 125's a good quad? What are any known bad issues with these? Do they have the problems the earlier one's did with the motor/tranny/reverse going out? I know a guy who has one that only needs front bearings, it runs good, and only wants 150 for it. It this a good price. It is in good cosmetic shape, too.

    Thanks

It all depends... What and who do you want it for? I rode one and I honostly foud it pointless........If you were getting it for a 10 year old it would be fine, but anyone of normal size will RAPIDLY be bored to death with the power, or lack there of.
From my expirence with small honda motors 300cc and under the things are always bullet-proof. You have to do some stupid crap and be careless to trash one of those engines
