My son and I just got back from the Hospital a bit ago. She is far from ok, but things are looking much better. She is now off the vent and breathing all on her own. Her remaining kidney has stopped bleeding. Her liver is still giving her lots of troubles, they had to put in a drain tube because it is reataining fluid...not good. She has a lot of infections inside and she is having troubles keeping her temp down. She now spends most time concious. She can say a few words, but nothing makes much sense...very confused. She takes small commands....squeeze my hand, wiggle your toes/fingers that kind of thing. As for all the broken bones and physical injuries....they are not even thinking about that type of rehab yet. She is going to be moved to another hospital/rehab facility soon...there is nothing more that can be done for her here once she is deemed "stable". That should be sometime next week. My son is getting along alot better now. I am very glad...thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers. It is truely amazing she lived throught this, so far. If she can get over the rampant infections she just may make it. The rest of the problems/injuries will take a great deal of time to heal. Hopefully she will learn from this and change her lifestyle. Again, thanks for all the kind words. Craig
