Tried to Hide my New Find For The Tecate

I allmost passed up this auction as it was at a Dollar. But I was looking at Tecate stuff while I couldnt sleep. I take a look at a 85 Tecate swingarm and it looks weird. I get on Buykawasaki.com and look at the 84-85-and 86 swingers and they are nothing like this one. I look at his other auctions as he was parting out what I guess was an old Tecate Racer. I noticed the Rear brake assembly he was selling and noticed the Brake line was extended.

I E-Mail the Guy and ask him the Center to Center length of the swinger and he replies that itas 19" So I go out to my Bike and check and it seems to me to be 17" I measured 5 times. Im like that. So now I know Im on to something.

I asked to see all the Aftermarket Swingers out there to see if this is some Hommade jobbie or something Aftermarket. I saw one Swinger in that thread that compared with the one I was looking at. It was for an 86-87 Tecate.

So I waited untill 45 seconds left and put a Bid down of $276.75, some dude tried to snake me but I had to prevail. Its been 4 years looking for something like this. Heres the E-Bay Link, anybody want to tell me if I bought Junk or A Treasure that belongs on a Beauty of a Tecate as mine.

I would allso like to thank the man who helped me confirm the swinger looked good. I didnt want to let the cat out of the bag and get crushed by the heavy hitters.

check out the bidding price. Thats why I believe it stayed under the Radar. Or I made a Very foolish mistake and my wife will kick my Nutz. She didnt like the amount I threw down on this. I told her it will help me from not flipping me over backwards and getting hurt

    What is it?

Nice! Glad you found what you were looking for after all this time. Being that its aluminum spend a little while for a couple of days and polish that baby up. It will look better than new.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

    EBAY and how to win

Go to a bid site call bidnapper.com or some other site. What these sites will do is put your max bid in like 2 seconds before the end of the auction. It costs like 5 bucks but you save that on the first auction. Nice not to have to wait up and you beat all the other people that are on trying to get your stuff. I use it all the time and save money.

Yea I was suprised that the other auctions for Tecate parts were going so high, but no one was bidding on the swinger. I figured that everyone was waiting for the last minute so I threw down a High bid and starting praying.
