Exclamation No wonder the 250r wouldn't run good!!!

It's a maracle it ran at all actually, when we installed the new piston the other nght, we put in in backwards!!!!! ROTFL!!!!! It ran like crap and a ring broke after about 1 1/2 hours like that.

    Anyway, here are some pics.

ScottZJ, look at the pics of the old piston, that's what it looked like when you had it. Ouch.

We're going to bore her out 1.25 over with a new piston (make sure we put it in right this time ), and after it's all said and done she should have even more power then before!!!!!!

Scott, question for ya: was the intake boot off of an 85 or 84? We picked up an 84 on off eBay and it don't fit the carb.

Pay no attention to the big indented arrow on top of the piston in clear sight.
Give me no lip and I tell you no lie.

HAHA, the clymer says for the arrow to piont toward the intake, but that's only for OEM pistons!!!! Aftemarket ones are supposed to piont in the opposite direction!!! (all mechanics we talked too make this mistake the first time)

Every Wiseco piston comes with installation instructions, which mentions the arrow... I would not listen to clymer over Wiseco. I would not read clymer period.
