    200x/cr125

What all is needed to pull this conversion off? Do I have to get all the electrical stuff along with the motor? And the carb? The cr125 is a manual right? I currently have a 200x with a 185s motor in in and I'm looking to hop it up some.

If a list of the things I will need to do this can be made that will help alot. My father is a welder/farmer so I'm not worried about modifications to much.

    Thanks

Also is it possible to put a cr250 in a 200x?

you would need the engine, carb, throttle, exhaust and the wiring harness, and radiator. yes its a manual. you would have to be creative on putting the radiators on it. and a 250 would probably fit but it would be way to much power for that chassis.

Hey dude, if you really want to do this conversion, I have a 83 cr 125 engine. All it will need is a top-end soon.

I would love to see a cr250 conversion. lol A little too much for my taste though.

I believe someone on the boards has done this already (125) I'll try and find it.

My father did this conversion back in the 80's to two trikes for flat track racing. Needless to say they blitzed the 200cc and under category.

You need to cut and remake the front downpipes of the frame and finding a spot for the radiator is a little difficult.

    Good luck.

No clue on the trike in the picture guys. I was researching this awhile back for a future project and found that picture. I "heard" that this set up will run with most stock 250's.

I have thought about doing the same thing to but the thing that would keep me from doing it would be the rear kicking starter. I would not want to pull off my fenders when ever I wanted to start the thing.
