1983 Honda ATC 200x-shes a beater
Past Rides:
1982 ATC Big Red 200e (miss it more than i thought i would)
1985 200x rode it for about a mile
Since the CR125 engine is a whole lot smaller than the 200X engine you should have room to make offset mounts if needed and still not have to do surgery on the frame itself.
I think one of the years (1983 maybe?) the CR bikes had right side drives so those wouldn't work.
The radiators would probably be the biggest challenge. You might want to see if the CR125 tank, radiators, and shrouds could somehow fit on the X. That might even give it a "short track" look that would be very cool.
CURRENT RIDES:
1988 Tri-Z 350 Twin
1985 1/2 Tri-Z
1984 IT490
IMPORTANT: Those of you with an overwhelming fear of
the unknown will be gratified to learn that there is no hidden message revealed by reading this backwards, so just ignore that Alert Notice from Microsoft.
what about an125? wouldn't that be the easiest route? did they have the sprocket on the left?
Caution
Do not "POP WHEELIES" and run for any distance with the ATC. The oil capacity is relatively small and the oil will drain out of the oil pump area thus causing loss of oil pressure, resulting in costly engine damage -CLYMER
The 1980's were right side!
