I cut mine so the hoses drain on the ground by the swingarm. I guess a full overflow bottle would cause your problem.

Its the first place it spits coolant out when it overheats. Occassional spurts are not unusual, but if it does it a lot, the most common cause is the plastic impeller head coming off the shaft giving you no coolant flow.
can you still get a tri-z water pump? i should put a new one in.
