You can over rev a honda 200 cc motor ?.... wow. !!!!!

lol. seriously tho.. i think you are limited by the sophistication of the engine... the rotor/timing advance unit can only do so much, the poor thing will rev it's heart out on a down hill in 5th with wind at your back to the point of vibrating itself silly..... ( i know. i've done it !! ) but if they built in a rev limiter.. it should have kicked in before that....

Im unsure about your model but the 250SX definately has a rev limiter to stop them from breaking cranks as they had done before it was a service bulletin. They may all have rev limiters....

I was told this by my uncle who repairs ATVs for a hobby. He might have been pulling my leg since he told me a 2 stroke's gas oil mixture goes through the crankcase to the carb, and that there is no oil in the crankcase like a 4 stroke

on 2 strokes.. gas goes from carb to crank to cylinder.

no oil needed on no tranny engines.

No, you put 4 cycle motor oil in the crankcase/transmission

    Yep.

That's why you need to mix the gas.. the crank gets it's lubrication from the oil in the mix.

The crank and the Tranny are seperate.
