Any tips on making a 110 go 55-60

I have a 1980 honda atc110 and I just got it bored out 30+.It used to run 42 with nubbies on all 3 tires now it runs 42 with gators on.I am trying to get her up to 55-60 miles an hour.I am planning on putting a cobra megaphone exhaust on it which should give it a little more top end speed and This weekend I am about to put a bigger main jet in her.I dont know what else to do to her after that though so any help would be appreciated. Her name is the little engine that could and for a good reason.Me and a buddy of mine were mud riding and he got his suzuki quad runner 500 with big heavy itp tires on and dug himself over his tires in some sticky buckshot.I hooked up to him and got her in low range and pulled him out slowly but surely, hence the name, the little engine that could.I dont know if thats good for a 110 being able to pull out a big 500 like that but it sure made my buddy and my cousin flip out, they were the ones who named it.Well I'm babbling but any tips on making her faster would be awesome.

Its easy, here's what you do:

    1. Very carefully remove all your factory plastics and carry them into a cool working area

2: Begin to remove all your factory graphics, stickers, warning labels, and any other glued on label (this includes the ID tag on the frame

3: If you are unable to remove these stickers, Have a graphics shop make you some new ones

4: After you have all stickers removed, or you have had new ones made, Make sure that they are ready to be re-stuck on.........

5: Install all of your graphics onto a 350X, that should get you 55+ out of it.

Just kidding, welcome to the boards

Less teeth on your rear sprocket or smaller rear tires. This will change the final drive ration gearing. It will take you longer or farther to get up to speed but this will work. Hope your riding on flat ground cause you have to watch the ground clearance with smaller tires.

smaller tires would lower his topend speed, but raise the acceleration.

As for a 110 doing 55-60, I had a couple going that fast before. In the back of the pickup going down the highway.

Bigger tires, plus regearing, larger sprocket in the front, smaller in the rear. Do all of the mods for more power you can think of (exaust, big bore kit) make it as light as possible, and be running as little fuel as you have too.

Oh, BTW, if you do get it that fast, I WANT TO SEE A VID!!!!!!!! LOL

Do everything your gonna and have done (bugger jet, bored, piped), high comp piston and cam it. Make it as light as possible. Take the seat off the plastics and just sit the seat on the frame, remove headlights. and anything else to trim weight. then take your air box cover off so it can breath better and you might make it to 50. And since you already have this engine and like the trike I'm not going to tell you to get a diff engine, BUT it would definatly help.

Also as was said before get a smaller rear sproket (as low as you can go) along with 25" tires and then you'll do 55-60.

Smaller rear tires provide less rolling weight.. think go-kart ! but you need a VERY small rear sproket ... good luck finding one..

How bout a shot of NOS while we're at it !!! lo... yeeeehawww..

my SX goes 55 mph.. all out on 22's, so on a 110... well, wow.
