Currently :
82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
84 125 M - The Mini-SXnot running yet. but won't be long.

I think your xr is an 87, but Howdy has all the good numbers he should verify that...
HEY HOWDY.
The engines are sisters. So the topend will fit. You will need to see if the piston, rod thingy will match to the holding area of the crank. Sorry brain is muddled right now. I am pretty sure it will but double check that ok. You are making a big mistake tho by not sticking to the xr topend. It in its stock form has higher compression and a slightly larger piston. The biggest give away between the 2 engines you and I discussed via pm, is the cdi location. I should have mentioned that to began with, but didnt even think of it, my apologies, for that. One series of 200's ran them right on the engine. The other is somewhere else, heck if I can remember right now.
