Take it to the local car wash, and for about 1 dollar you can have your motor spotless. Most car washes have an Engine Degrease mode on the dial, turn it there and blast away.

I like the stuff called "Greased Lightning", seems to work well on light grease.

uh gas and a wire brush goes along way...maybe you could pour colman fuel on it and stand really far away and light it and then see all the paint and greas burn off...then im sure the car was with that engine degreaser would get the rest...that stuff dont work well without help..unless its really light grease or brake dust

brake cleaner, and then water, works wonders. WD-40 will also take grease off pretty good.

Burn it off!!! I took to a company here in town called Fimco (they make Ag sprayers and stuff) and they put my frame and swing arm in an oven and actually burned off the paint and grime before sanding blasting it. Then it was put on the line with the products they normally make to be powdercoated. I feel like I stole something because they did it for $65.

Well there is this stuff called Power Out (I think thats what its called.. I'll check in a little bit), that works very well. Its a grease remover, and its very powerful stuff. Just spray it on, and let it sit.. as long as you don't care about your paint.. it will eat paint right off..
