Exclamation Someone help me with my Z!

It is really hard to pull the clutch in on the Tri-Z. The clutch wasn't disengaging a while ago, but I almost fixed it yesterday, it was a worn out linkage shaft, the push lever also had some wear.

I replaced those with a spare one I had, and now it will push the pressure plate out, but it still drags when you put it in first, hold the clutch and try to push it.

What could have caused it to wear out that shaft so fast? The point on it is completly worn down. The clutch pull became very hard and then it just stopped working and wouldnt disengage.

I was just thinking, could the springs, as they get older, get harder to compress? Or would they be easier?

On my Z its hard to pull in the clutch also, but it works fine. I would think the sprigs would get eiser to pull in because the they are getting compressed.

I am going to change the clutch plates, they are warped a bit. I probaly should change friction plates and springs too.

What could have caused the shaft to wear out so quickly? The tip is worn right off.

I'll get everything back together when I get my plates and springs, and see if it will work for a while.
